Due to the bad weather I cannot guarantee that the shop will be open every day.

Yarn Heaven

Posted on: October 5th, 2010

For all of you who are not going to Ally Pally and would rather spend the travelling/ticket price on the all important yarn, we are doing an alternative ‘do’ in the shop on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th October 2010.

I have to say we are getting rather renowned for our ‘do’s’ and not just for the free alcohol that is involved!

We are officially launching the new Katia range of yarns and patterns. Come in and have a glass (or two) of wine and try out some of the fantastic Katia yarns including Azteca, Triana, Fabula, Rizos, Marathon and lots more. For all of you who didn’t get the chance to come to the Pimms Day there are also the new Rico yarns together with the Debbie Bliss and Louisa Harding yarns to try out and all of their new books together with Debbie’s new autumn 2010 magazine. I promise it will be yarn heaven!

For all purchases of £25.00 or more made in the shop for any yarns, books, needles etc. (sorry does not apply to online orders) on Friday 8th or Saturday 9th October you will be entered into a free prize draw (1 ticket per transaction). The 1st prize is a Katia goodie bag with Katia yarns and patterns together with KnitPro needles etc; with lots of runner up prizes of a selection of fantastic books from Search Press. The draw will take place at 4pm on Saturday 9th October 2010 (3.45pm on the Saturday will be your last chance to be entered into the draw). All winning tickets will be posted on the website and all winners will be notified by email or phone. (Full T&C can be seen in the shop).

Look forward to seeing you for the beginning of a great weekend on the 9th/10th October.

Unravel 2010

Posted on: February 25th, 2010

Just to let everyone know the shop will be open on Saturday from 10am – 5pm and Sunday 10am – 4pm so you can get an extra yarn fix!  Not enough room to take everything to the Maltings but shop is now bursting at the seams.

Have now received deliveries of the new Debbi Bliss Baby Eco yarns and books together with her new Amalfi yarn and books.

Lots of new Louisa Harding including her amazing Merletto yarn – the colours and texture are out of this world.  New Bijoux and Belle pattern books also in stock.

Had a delivery today of some really exciting books together with lots of KnitPro Symfonie wood needles/hooks/accessories. Am now also stocking the Nova metal range.

Have had new stock of Pompon multie including some of the new colours and also have a limited stock of Grundl pompom yarn that is all sparkly!

So much still to do but just know it’s going to be a fantastic weekend with the bonus being that I get to catch up with so many customers and suppliers that I don’t get to see much of.
