Saturday 9th January

Posted on: Saturday, January 9th, 2010

Will slip and slide down hill on Saturday and open shop from 10.30 am to 4′ish for all of you who need a yarn fix or just a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.

If more snow comes in on Sunday as forecast may not be able to open much next week.

Friday 8th January

Posted on: Friday, January 8th, 2010

Made it! Took longer than expected as kept bumping into people hadn’t seen for ages. Really nice walk; managed to stay upright! Farnham town is quite clear; roads ok and only a few slippy pavements but car parks haven’t been cleared.

Snow

Posted on: Friday, January 8th, 2010

I’ve been unable to get into the shop for the last couple of days as my road is a total no go area and unlike my son I am a total wimp and won’t drive in snow or ice.

I am going to attempt to walk in tomorrow - armed of course as advised with shovel, rug and a flask of warm drink (in my case it will be brandy) which have decided is OK as am not driving! If anybody around there will be a pot of coffee on tho you may have to have it black unless Sainsburys have had a delivery and plenty of hot chocolate.

Apologies to all online customers for delay in sending out orders.  Will take to post office tomorrow and hope that Royal Mail are able to deliver in some areas.

Hope to get in around 10.30 but will close at 4pm as journey home is all uphill and after William Cobbett pub there are no other stopping places!
