TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Use and access to the interKnit cafe website is subject to our Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully prior to ordering. By using or accessing any part of the Website, it is deemed that you have read and agree to our Terms & Conditions.

ORDERING AND SHIPPING INFO

At the interKnit cafe the customer comes first, so we have tried to keep ordering as simple as possible. If you encounter any problems please let us know.

Ways to order:

Via the web site:
www.interknitcafe.co.uk using a debit/credit card which is then processed through PayPal so that you can be assured your payments and personal details are secure.
If you do not have a PayPal account click the non PayPal account button.
We accept all major credit/debit cards apart from American Express and Diners Club.

By telephone:
If you need any help or advice about your order please call the shop on 01252 734666 between 10 am - 5 pm Tuesday - Saturday where we will be only too happy to help.

Debit/credit card details can be taken over the phone. However, if the shop is very busy you may have trouble getting through to us. Please be patient!

By email:
You can place your order online at info@interknitcafe.co.uk but for your own security please do not include debit/credit card details with your order.

Either pop a cheque/postal order/bankers draft in the post or phone the shop with card details. Cheques should be made payable to the Interknit Cafe. Please put your address on the reverse of the cheque.

Orders paid for by cheque will be despatched when the cheque has been cleared through the bank. If paying by cheque you should allow an extra 3 days before the order will be sent.

If you choose to pay online using PayPal full payment is taken at the time of placing an order. It helps us if you include a contact telephone number with orders.

Online and web site orders will be confirmed by email on receipt of payment and you will be informed of a dispatch date.

We aim to process all orders on the day of receipt and dispatch within 2 working days.

Although we carry extensive stocks we cannot guarantee all items will be available from stock when the order is placed. If this is the case you will be notified of any delays that may occur with your order. You can then choose to either cancel the whole or part of the order and place any out of stock items on back order.

We will endeavour to obtain any out of stock items within 10 days.

We will keep you updated on the status of your back orders.

There are no extra shipping charges for back orders.

Shipping & Handling Charges:

UK/N.I. orders will be sent via Royal Mail/Parcel Force. Overseas by Royal Mail small packet post. Registered/recorded delivery can be arranged at extra cost. Please contact the shop if this option is required.

Please ensure that all shipping details are correct as we cannot be liable for non-delivery due to incorrect delivery details.

The minimum order is £5.00.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Returns

You have the right to cancel an order within 7 days of ordering/receipt.

Notice of cancellation of an order must be notified by post or email, a returns number will then be issued.

Goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt, unused and in a saleable condition.

Please enclose a copy of the original invoice.

Shipping for returned goods will be paid by the customer.

Shipping for original order will not be refunded (unless goods are faulty).

Upon receipt of goods we will issue a refund within 30 days and notify you accordingly.

In the unlikely event you are not happy with your order it can be returned within 7 days of receipt. Goods received later than 7 days may be liable to a 5% restocking charge.

Please advise us either via email or post that you are returning goods and the reason for return before despatching so that we can issue you with a returns number.

The goods must be unused and in saleable condition.

Please enclose a copy of the original invoice.

Shipping for returned goods will be paid by the customer and is not refundable.

Upon receipt of goods we will issue a refund within 30 days and notify you accordingly.

If any of the goods you receive have been damaged in transit please notify us by email or post immediately detailing damage incurred. We will resend the goods at no extra cost if this is required.

They will need to be returned within 7 days of receipt.

Upon receipt and assessment of any damage we will notify you and refund any monies within 30 days, including any shipping charges incurred if a replacement is not required.

Refunds will be made in the same form of payment used for the purchase of the goods.

Exchanges

If you need to exchange any item of your order you must notify us detailing the reason for exchange within 7 days of receipt.

Goods must be returned to us unused and in a saleable condition within 7 days.

Any exchange goods that are out of stock or discontinued lines will be liable to a 5% restocking charge.

Alternative goods or an exchange note will be sent.

The customer will be liable for return shipping charges.

Shipping for any exchanges will be charged at standard Royal Mail postal charges.

It is advisable to return goods recorded delivery as a proof of posting certificate is not proof of delivery.

Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without prior notice.

Whilst we have tried to reproduce all text and images as accurately as possible no responsibility can be taken for any distortion that may occur.

VAT which is included in our prices at the current standard rate of 15% will be deducted from all orders received from outside the EU. This does not apply to books or patterns which are zero rated.

Exclusions

Returns of 'sale' or 'special offer' goods are excluded from our standard Terms & Conditions.

'Sale'or 'special offer' goods are non-returnable unless an error has been made by the interKnit cafe in processing order details or the goods are faulty.

PRIVACY

The interKnit cafe will never pass on any of your details to a third party unless specifically requested.

The interKnit cafe will never contact you regarding any other services or products unless specifically requested

The interKnit cafe only ever collect personal information required to fufill your order.

Mailing details are kept on our secure database for future ordering unless specifically requested not to.

All online credit/debit card details are processed by the secure PayPal server and not kept by the interKnit cafe.

All contents of the interKnit cafe website are solely owned by the interKnit cafe and its suppliers and may not be copied or reproduced for personal or any other reason without prior consent from the interKnit cafe.
